It's Dolphin Time  Spanish:   La hora del delfín ) is the fourth episode of Part 3 of Netflix's Money Heist. It aired on July 19, 2019.

Synopsis[]

Tamayo's breaches of protocol surprise the Professor. Bogotá calms Denver's anxieties. With time running out, Palermo initiates the "Flipper" plan.

Plot[]

! Warning: This section contains spoilers.

Bogotá tells Denver how to be a good dad, and explains how his seven kids (who live in different countries) love him even though he visits them only once a year.

Luis Tamayo learns that all the CNI's devices are tapped by the robbers. He decides to break with protocol and orders all devices used in the past six months to be confiscated. This greatly impedes the Professor's plans, as all their tapped devices are blacked out. Tamayo and team plan to enter the bank in 14 minutes, whereas Bogotá will take no less than two hours to open the door to the water-filled vault.

Palermo explains in flashback how the gang will use shortwave signals to communicate with each other. Each call will pass through 2,300 layers of encryption, making it undecipherable by the government.

Tokyo orders the hostages to wear masks and bulletprof vests. When one hostage, Miguel, refuses, Denver orders him to put on his vest before injuring him with a gunshot, to demonstrate that he would certainly have died if not for the vest.

Tamayo confirms to the Professor that he is in charge of the operation, not Colonel Prieto.

The Professor explains how the gang will use only old feature phones, without Internet and GPS, so that any call made through them can only be tracked when the call is active. Two such receptor phones (which will receive all calls from the gang) will be in Marseille's bag as he moves around the city of Madrid so that they cannot be tracked.

The Professor calls Tamayo and asks him to analyse the psychology of the captor. Raquel takes the call and apologises to Ángel for leaving the police force abruptly. Tamayo warns the Professor that he will storm the bank.

In flashback the Professor explains to Raquel how they cannot save Rio without a perfect plan.

Arturo tells Tamayo that he believes that Denver is leading the present heist now that Berlin is no more. Little does he know that the real leader is Palermo.

Denver explains to Mónica how he will take a bullet for her if need be, the way his father Moscow gave up his life for Tokyo.

As shown in flashback, Palermo's Flipper Plan consists of the Governor of the bank opening another vault behind the flooded one with gold. But the Professor knows only too well that he may refuse, even though he is the only one who can open it. The Governor refuses to open and Denver knocks him unconscious, triggering a seizure. Nairobi desperately tries to resuscitate him.

Helicopters circle above the bank as crowds have gathered outside. Helsinki is ready with a machine gun. As planned beforehand by Berlin, Bogotá enters the chamber with a C4 explosive and plants it on the vault door. It explodes, opening the vault.
