Synopsis[]
Tokyo's happiness turns bittersweet. Ángel closes in on a quarreling Raquel and the Professor. Authorities offer a multimillion-dollar reward for tips.

In flashback, Tokyo and Rio are enjoying their time in Guna Yala in Panama. Tired of the constant solitude, Tokyo tells him that she wants a social life like other couples. In the present, a crowd cheers for Rio as he enters the bank. The gang members embrace him warmly.
Arturo, desperate to reunite with Mónica, rushes into the bank just as its doors close and becomes a hostage. He is desperate to see his biological son again, but she makes it clear that she hates Arturo. She calls on Helsinki to take care of him.
After a round of bidding for the highest price by the CNI officers, Alicia proposes a reward of ten million euros for anyone who manages to find information about the Professor's whereabouts. Just then Ángel calls them and gives them the good news that he has finally tracked down the Professor and Raquel's RV, which they have abandoned in a warehouse.
The Professor asks Rio over the phone how badly he was tortured. Rio was not allowed to leave his cell even to go to the toilet, except when he was hosed as a means of bathing him. The CNI, having installed a microchip in Rio, is tracking the conversation. The Professor knows only too well that Rio has been bugged, so he uses the codeword "a quick vacation". He asks Tokyo to have sex with Rio even if she does not feel like it, to make it appear to the police that they are still a couple. However, as they are together in the bathtub, Rio tells her that he won't be able to have a relationship with her for now.
In flashback, it is shown how the Professor conducts training to remove an embedded microchip from a person, using dead animals for practice. Marseille refuses to slice open a dead pig as it is against his principles, leading to an argument. In the present, the gang prepares to operate on Rio and remove the microchip.
Raquel has an argument with the Professor over his trying to manipulate Tokyo's feelings. She thought she was in love with him. Their ambulance, in which they escaped, is spotted by a drone sent by Ángel. Quickly, they set off in it as they are pursued by the drone. As explained beforehand by the Professor when he was having sex with Raquel, they split up and try to climb into a tree in order to escape capture, remaining in touch via walkie-talkie. They plan to be within a 500-metre radius of where they were detected. The Professor manages to climb into a tree but Raquel cannot, so she enters an abandoned granary and hides there. Ángel has sent a team of troops and dogs to scour the entire area in search of the duo.
Having interviewed a few of the 40 hostages who were released, Alicia understands that the gang were melting the gold in the bank. Tamayo has a little trouble understanding how they could operate a furnace in the bank. He wants to stop it.
