Boom, Boom, Ciao  es.  Bum, bum, ciao ) is the fifth episode of Part 3 of Netflix's Money Heist. It aired on July 19, 2019.

Synopsis

The Professor shocks officials with his latest stunt, but in response, a new inspector rattles Raquel. Palermo and Nairobi get into a heated argument.

Plot

! Warning: This section contains spoilers.

As the troops and helicopters descend on the bank, Denver emerges with a white flag of peace in one hand and a red box in another, which contains cover-ups by the Spanish government and was retrieved from the vault. He throws the contents of the box in the air before returning inside. The troops refrain from shooting him. Raquel and the Professor celebrate.

In flashback, Palermo explains to the rest of the gang how he thinks homosexual sex (between men, not between women) is the best kind there is, since he thinks men have sex only to ejaculate, whereas women often have to think of starting a family while doing so. He calls it the "Boom-Boom-Ciao" theory. The women disagree with him. Nairobi, in particular, loves Helsinki and she is aghast by the fact that he has a relationship with Palermo.

Nairobi finally manages to save the Governor of the bank from his seizure. In the meantime, high-ranking officials from the Interior, the Army and other ministries arrive at the bank, only to have eggs thrown at them by the crowd. Tamayo explains just how bad the uncovered documents are for the reputation of the government and the country.

Ángel tells Tamayo that the transmitters used by the gang are located in the south of Spain. Tamayo wants him to go there along with Martínez.

Alicia Sierra arrives in Madrid with Rio in her custody. The Professor calls her but soon Raquel starts talking to her. Alicia threatens her to hand over the Professor to the police if she does not want her mother and daughter to be arrested in the Philippines. This triggers an argument between the Professor and Raquel.

Palermo beats a tied-up Gandía with a stick to get back at him. Nairobi is shocked at his behaviour and tells him that one needs courage to truly love another person, and that since the death of Berlin, whom he loved, he does not have any, therefore his sexual relationship with Helsinki.
