Cho Youngmin ( Korean: 조영민 ) is one of the main characters in the Netflix series Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area, portrayed by actor Park Myung-hoon.
Biography[]
Cho Youngmin is the director of the Korea Unified Mint who had an affair with Yun Misun. When Misun became pregnant, Youngmin denied being the father, as he claimed to have had a vasectomy 10 years prior.
During the Korean police's attempted infiltration, Youngmin and another hostage, the daughter of a US ambassador, appeared in a YouTube livestream. They begged the police not to use force as the hostages were dressed in the same jumpsuits as the robbers and were all carrying guns, making it impossible for the police to differentiate the robbers and hostages.[1]

Personality[]
Cho Youngmin is possessive and controlling. He was seen physically forcing himself onto Yun Misun as soon as she entered his office. He is also seen giving orders to other hostages and expecting them to be followed without question.
