The Professor races to stop a witness from identifying him. Berlín seeks revenge once his own name is revealed and slandered in the press.

Mónica Gaztambide gets closer to Denver who has fallen asleep in the vault. When Denver wakes up, he jokes that Mónica is still there and Mónica and Denver begin to argue. Denver claims that he saved her life, however, Mónica compares him to Nazis. Mónica is frustrated that she unable to leave the vault, and Denver offers to take her to the bathroom.
Meanwhile, news outlets falsely report that Berlin was previously involved in human trafficking and snitched on his fellow robbers. Nairobi, believing that the news is true, confronts Berlin about his behaviour. Berlin responds by grabbing Nairobi's neck and refuting the media's claims. He hears from the press that his identity was uncovered due to his jacket button being found in the Professor's car and remembers that the jacket was previously worn by Denver when he stuck out to a street party.
Tokyo finds Moscow in the vault. Moscow brings up the night that Tokyo and Denver stuck out to a street party without permission during the months in Toledo. In a flashback, Tokyo and Denver are smoking and drinking in Tokyo's room after sneaking out to a street party. They were planning on hooking up, but are disrupted by Moscow. In the present, Moscow criticises Tokyo for being reckless and causing the people around her, such as her mother and her ex-boyfriend, to get hurt.
Berlin walks around the mint looking for Denver, so he can seek revenge. He gets Helsinki and Oslo to help him. Nairobi hears and attempts to stop him. She tries to reason with them, but without success, as Berlin values his reputation and dignity and wants to punish Denver for his carelessness.
The Professor has a new plan. He gets into an empty police car and speaks into the radio in Russian. He threatens to kill Nikolai's family if he helps the police draw a composite sketch of him. Scared, Nikolai immediately erases the police sketch and leaves the tent. The police, who do not understand Russian, react quickly and try to find out what happened and where the message came from.
Ángel goes to the Bar Hanoi to tell Raquel the information that he has found about Berlin's condition. He tells her that Retroxil is a rare medication used to treat Helmer's Myopathy, a degenerative neurological disorder. Due to the high mortality rate of the condition, even when taking Retroxil, there is a 9/10 chance that Berlin will die within 24 months.
In a phone call, the Professor reveals to Berlin that he was the one who planted the button as punishment for ordering the execution of a hostage. In response, Berlin calls the punishment unjust and reveals to the Professor that Mónica is still alive. The Professor sees through this and claims that Mónica is alive not because of Berlin. He tells Berlin to proceed to Plan Valencia, which involves faking a massacre in the mint. To do this, Tokyo and Oslo shoot at rollers and the hostages scream at the top of their lungs.
