The Monastery of San Giovanni is the Italian monastery where Berlin lived in the years leading up the heist of the Royal Mint of Spain. He planned the heist of the Bank of Spain there, and it was also where he was married to Tatiana in Berlin's Wedding.
He shared the monastery with actual monks. Among these monks is João.

- The name of the monastery was revealed in the episode It's Dolphin Time when Tokyo said "The first time I heard one could make fire underwater was in the Monastery of San Giovanni. I thought it was as improbable as the fact that I was there, listening to Gregorian chants."
- Behind the scenes, the exterior shot takes place in the hermitage of San Frutos (Saint Fructus), which is 87 miles from the city center of Madrid in the province of Segovia. The building was built in the 12th century and is located on the top of a canyon, offering views over the Hoces del Duratón Natural Park.[1][2]
