Synopsis[]

In the past, Berlin predicts that Gandía will cause problems for the operation. Sierra's interrogation of Lisboa leads to a personal revelation.

Plot[]

The gang rush to find Gandía. Gandía has already found Nairobi and attempts to suffocate her with a pillow, but she is able to stab him in the neck with a needle; he flees as the gang rush to Nairobi. Arturo attempts to rouse the hostages and bring them together as the Resistance, but Denver stops him.

On being asked by Lisbon about her husband, Germán, Alicia Sierra informs her that he died two months ago from pancreatic cancer. Tamayo thinks that Sierra is unfit for the job, but she informs the team that there is no one as qualified for leading it as she is, since she is constantly calculating moves against the Professor.

Gandía later almost kills Helsinki by hanging as he drops a noose around his neck from the ceiling. Bogotá and Tokyo save Helsinki. Before Gandía retreats to a secret panic room, he cuts the telecommunication cords that render the Professor's cameras in the bank inoperative. The panic room is equipped with weapons and a communication centre, which Gandía uses to communicate with Tamayo.

Tamayo tells him that they are under a truce with The Professor, but he wants to coordinate an attack. Benito Antoñanzas tells the Professor that Gandía is communicating with the police from a panic room, and as the Professor relays this information to Tokyo, Gandía knocks her out from behind.
