Sagasta is a character in the Netflix series, Money Heist.
Biography[]
Sagasta is a commander of the Special Forces of the Spanish Army. He is hardened in countless international missions against the worst of the human species. Which places him, precisely, in the same place as the men he has killed. He is a born leader, who his men will follow to the end if he asks. He is first seen at his home on leave at his bathroom, contacted by Colonel Tamayo to bring him his team to defeat the Professor's team. When he arrives, he is assigned to lead Special Forces Unit 3 led by Canizo. However, he refuses and demands his own team, but Tamayo refuses to because of the previous crimes his soldiers have committed. Sagasta tells him that he knows every detail about his team and that they are just outside.
During the operation, Tokyo's suicide bombing wiped out the majority of his team. Sagasta, Arteche and Vazquez were the only survivors of the bombing due to their distance from the bombing.
